Who We Are

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Astana Kazakhstan, SusAir Aviation Operation Group is a specialized research division under Susdev Group Company Limited focusing exclusively on the predesign exploration of airport infrastructure. As air travel enters a new era defined by digital transformation climate change and shifting urban dynamics SusAir exists to ask the deeper questions that precede design and to propose the frameworks that will shape the airports of tomorrow.

We are not an architectural studio. We are a research-driven design initiative where architects planners engineers systems thinkers and data specialists work side by side to rethink how airports should function feel and evolve in the coming decades. Our mission is not to respond to today’s norms but to define what’s next from smarter passenger flows to climate-adaptive terminal models from digital-first operations to seamless urban-airport integration.

Although newly established SusAir inherits the multidisciplinary DNA of Susdev Group which has long been known for its bold refined and technically sophisticated approach to built environments. What sets SusAir apart is its commitment to knowledge before form systems before symbols and people before infrastructure.

We see airports not just as logistical spaces but as social economic and environmental gateways that deserve deeper more future-focused inquiry. Through rigorous research collaborative development and visionary frameworks SusAir aims to serve as a knowledge engine for the next generation of airport architecture.

Where We’re Heading

We are not building airports yet. We are building the frameworks that will define how they are designed. In the next phase, our research will evolve into international partnerships, scalable design systems and groundbreaking airport concepts ready for the next generation of global mobility.

Part of Susdev Group

As part of Susdev Group Company Limited, SusAir benefits from decades of multidisciplinary design experience across hospitality and infrastructure. While Susdev Pearl leads in high-end resort and hotel design, SusAir is the Group’s innovation hub for aviation and infrastructure research.

Our Culture – Inside the Way We Think and Work

At SusAir, our organizational culture is driven by four core principles that reflect both intellectual integrity and ambition for impact.

Interdisciplinary Thinking

Foresight Over Reaction

A Vision Beyond Construction

“Airports are among the most complex infrastructures ever designed yet they are often built with outdated assumptions. At SusAir, we believe the future of airport design must be built on rigorous research and thoughtful system planning.

This division was born out of a simple insight: what if we designed airports not after regulations, but before them? What if we anticipated the technologies, the climate realities, and the behavioral patterns of tomorrow’s passengers before laying a single brick?

SusAir is our response to that question. We are investing in long-term thinking, deep technical insight, and collaboration across disciplines to shape not just buildings, but mobility ecosystems. This is research with responsibility and vision.”

Let’s Build the Thinking Behind the Terminals

SusAir welcomes partners who share our belief that future airports deserve deeper thinking, before drawings, before construction, and even before standards are set.
